November 17 is the World Prematurity Day. Atom Medical Corporation holds activities to raise awareness of the issue on preterm infants. On the theme of "Compassion and Gratitude", we express our gratitude to medical workers as a company engaged in neonatal care around the world.

Purple is the symbol color for World Prematurity Day, representing the sensitivity and exceptionality of preterm babies.

■About World Prematurity Day

One in ten babies in the world is born prematurely. World Prematurity Day is one of the most important days of the year to raise awareness of the challenges and the burden of preterm birth facing on society. It was initiated by the European Foundation for the Care of Newborn Infants (EFCNI) and partnering European parent organizations in 2008. On this day, various activities related to preterm birth are carried out around the world, based on the symbol color purple.
